I’m really surprised at all the positive reviews for this place. We booked to stay here in the January school holidays and ended up leaving after 1 night (even though we paid non-refundable 7 nights). The sites are very close together (packed in like sardines), lots of dogs and dogs barking, loud music playing all day, young kids unsupervised riding around and yelling at all hours, pool water is too cold to swim in and lots of groups crammed together on sites. Yes, it is close to the beach, staff are friendly and the amenities are clean, but everything else lets this place down. If you like loud cramped sites near the beach then this is the place for you! If you like quieter more spacious campgrounds, then give this one a miss.

Overall very nice and obviously actively maintained. Getting a receipt to reconcile for work is hard though.

Room, utensils and bbq were left dirty.
A shirt/top, from the last people staying there, in the lower bunk bed had been left there, sheets appeared to have not been changed, linen appeared to not be fresh, would not rush back to stay there again.

I've stayed at this caravan park numerous times over the years, both in cabins and camping, and have always enjoyed it. However, I would never stay in a standard cabin again - they are small, shabby (numerous holes in walls badly plastered over, holes in door), lacking facilities (no cooktop so had to use the camp kitchen, tiny bathroom) and poorly located near the children's jumping pillow (the air compressor on all day) and the service area (bins crashing from early on etc). Not a restful stay. On the plus side it was clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The website needs to be more up front on what is offered so people realise & can make an informed choice before booking. I was also told on check in that I couldn't upgrade because I'd booked through a third party provider - the park was nowhere near full, so this seemed inflexible and unhelpful. I won't be back.

Loved the concept of the property, unfortunately having the spa is no good when its cold water, the quality of the fixtures in the unit were out dated and broken some had mould. Blinds were filthy when down. Lounges were ripped and broken, bed was very worn and sinking

Very clean, all you need for short stay and a very short walk to a fantastic beach.

Rain on a canvas roof beats tin any day. Due to weather swimming at this pretty beach was a miss but Pool was such a lovely substitute.

Would be a great caravan park to take our dog! Beach is spectacular! My disappointment came from the small things. The Thai food van out the front took our order but must have lost it as it took a lot longer than our friends who ordered at the same time- so they were packed up and finished before we started. Coffee van was not there on a Sunday morning. There are no shops (we found) in walking distance so this made things harder and if I knew would have packed coffee and food. We arrived after 6pm so missed staff for check in so maybe would have been told.
Cabin was a little run down but it was clean.
Pool was nice, and park has a family feel with lots of pet dogs! Beach was lovely too!

Great family stay in September 2024 at what is now NRMA Broulee Holiday Park. Paid $268 for a two-night stay a Courtyard Cabin that sleeps 4 including a separate bedroom with a queen bed. Kitchen, fridge, TV and bathroom all provided in the cabin. Linen and towels supplied. Great facilities within the park - pool, jumping mat, games room, TV room, and bbqs. Only a few minutes walk down a track to Bengello Beach. Definitely recommended.

Good for families
Everything was very clean. The shower had great water pressure. The beds were comfortable enough.
